is a 42' steel hulled ocean cruising schooner. She was designed by Naval Architect Thomas Colvin and professionally built by T.D. Vinette Ship Yard in 1973. You'll recognize her by the Chinese Junk rigged sail plan she carries.

There is plenty of room to lounge on deck, walk around or explore the spacious cabin below. She can sleep eight people in comfort and is equipped with a lavatory (head) which might come in handy when you're still an hour from port. She also has quaint oil-burning lamps below and a wood-burning stove for those chilly nights. FRIENDLY meets or exceeds all United States Coast Guard safety requirements and receives an annual Coast Guard Auxiliary inspection.

Life jackets for all ages are provided aboard for your safety and high-backed cushioned deck chairs are available for your comfort. Get ready to sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of sailing in one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots not only in Door County, but in the entire country.

The Schooner FRIENDLY sails three times daily from Fish Creek at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and at sunset. For information about rates, go here.
